Overview

Go train watch is a transit companion app for GO Transit schedules, route planning, Union departures, widgets, and trip reminders. We collect only the minimum information needed to provide those features.

What the app accesses

• Location — only when you enable nearby station sorting or automatic departure-station suggestions.
• Calendar — only when you tap Add to Calendar for a trip.
• Notifications and Live Activities — only when you create trip reminders.
• Subscription status — checked through Apple's StoreKit APIs to unlock GO Rider Pro features.

Tracking

• The app does not use an advertising SDK.
• The app does not present an App Tracking Transparency prompt.
• The app does not intentionally track users across apps or websites for advertising.

Data sharing

• Transit requests are sent to Metrolinx Open Data services to load schedules, departures, fares, and service updates.
• Subscription purchase and billing data are handled by Apple.
• Support emails are sent only when you choose to contact support.

Your choices

• You can deny or revoke location, calendar, and notification permissions in iOS Settings.
• You can manage or cancel GO Rider Pro in App Store subscription settings.
